May Mediation Living Room 6.5. from 4 PM to 5:30 PM

Our supporting association, the Finnish Mediation Forum, is holding its next free remote meeting on Wednesday 6 May. Read more details below!

May Mediation Lounge: Explaining the Mediation Process and Principles to the Parties (especially in Workplace Mediation)

Welcome to the Mediator's Lounge on Wednesday 6th May from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM! This time, we'll be focusing specifically on experiences and questions related to workplace mediation. The facilitator will be Maija Gellin, which prompts reflection on what and how we present our mediation process's journey and principles to the parties. The introduction is thought-provoking, but in keeping with the nature of "Olohuone" (Living Room), this time too, a shared exchange of experiences and expertise is the most important takeaway from the meeting. So, what is currently puzzling you in workplace communities' challenges and your mediation work?

The people from the board of the Finnish Mediation Forum will be facilitating the event as usual.

No separate registration is required. This invitation can be forwarded to anyone interested in the topic if desired.

You can join directly from the Zoom link here: https://us06web.zoom.us/j/87411608137

The final "Olohuone" (Living Room) of Spring 2026 will be held on Wednesday 3 June at 4.00 PM. We will be discussing how understanding the connections between body and mind can also be helpful in mediation and in understanding interpersonal relationships – with Monica Hailnen, Chairperson of the Finnish Mind-Body Bridging Association, as the speaker.

Warmest regards,

The Board of the Finnish Mediation Forum ry
