Our supporting organisation, Finnish Forum for Mediation, is organising the Mediation Living Room again this week!
The next time we meet in the Living Room will be on Wednesday 2 September from 16:00 to 17:30. On that occasion we will be talking about artificial intelligence: techno-philosopher and Chair of the Association of Mediation Journalists Sopiva ry, Jarno Alastalo, is coming to speak about how the mainstreaming of AI affects human relationships and living together. Jarno will also consider more broadly how we can influence the direction in which AI is taking us as a society. If you wish, you can familiarise yourself with Jarno’s thinking in advance through his book published in the winter, ”Musta laatikko – tekoälyttömyyden ajan alku” (The Black Box: The Beginning of the Era of Artificial Stupidity): https://www.sttinfo.fi/tiedote/71755318/jarno-alastalon-teos-musta-laatikko-pohtii-tekoalya-ja-tulevaisuuden-ihmista?publisherId=64608824&lang=fi

What Living RoomLiving room meetings are Finnish Forum for Mediation (SSF ry) organised free remote meetings for mediators from various fields and those broadly interested in themes related to mediation. Meeting invitations are sent to SSF members. During the meetings, participants hear introductory presentations and discuss various themes together, learn new things from each other, and catch up and share experiences.
In future, you will most reliably receive information about the Olohuone meetings by joining the association as a member or by following LinkedIn page!
