There is still room for more participants in the Restorative and Mediatory Community training in Turku!
Restorative and Reconciliatory Community (more commonly known as RESTO training) provide participants with information and
the ability to apply a restorative approach and mediation in their own work and in different contexts.
in conflict situations. The training is practical and collaborative. The training will provide the necessary material for practical work, which can be used in the future by each individual in his or her own community in the way he or she wishes. The content of the training sessions will be based on the participants' insights, experiences and discussions, so each group will create its own course. At the end of the training, participants will have an understanding of restorative thinking, inclusion and encounter. The participant will also be able to use the process of restorative mediation in everyday conflict situations.
NOTE! Our strong recommendation is that at least 2 participants from each learning community attend the training.
a staff representative. This will help to bring the restorative approach more effectively into the community and allow mediation to take place in pairs where necessary. The training is a process, requiring attendance at all sessions.
