KARVI evaluation report: anti-bullying methods are well suited for use in children's groups

The National Evaluation Centre for Education and Training has completed method-specific evaluation reports on anti-bullying activities, and on supporting children's emotional and interaction skills in early childhood education and MiniVerso has been involved in a commendable evaluation study!

The evaluation report summarises the following general, field-wide recommendations for improvement (below by title, available in full in the report):

- Anti-bullying work and the development of a culture that promotes equality among children must be planned and goal-oriented.

- Early childhood education and care resources should be more clearly targeted at anti-bullying work and in-service training.

- Employee orientation and refresher training on anti-bullying practices should be provided in the daily routine of early childhood education and care.

- The involvement of carers in anti-bullying work should be developed in a comprehensive way.

- The child and his or her experience must be at the centre of anti-bullying work.

The MiniVerso team has been working systematically for a long time on these areas of development that have now emerged across the field, for example by investing in electronic materials and maintenance support such as SOPULA meetings and materials and webinars for carers. The last of the development recommendations is closely linked to the core of MiniVerson and restorative thinking.

Our thanks and huge appreciation for the continuous cooperation with all the trained units, teams, educators and groups of children!

Let's continue to work together, strengthened and guided by important evaluation data!
